The Land of Nou is one of many worlds located within the Dreaming, a parallel universe accessible through the unconscious.

It is a place for dreamers: children seeking an escape from the troubles of the Waking.  Especially a young Wiradjuri boy whose experiences with abuse leave him in desperate need of sanctuary.

Welcome as emissaries by the native nouminals – creatures of cloth, stuffing, and stitch – dreamers are invited to create, explore, and play to their hearts’ content, or embark on fantastic adventures.

But all is not well in the world of dreams.

During the Solar Festival, a celebration in the capital city of Daywatch, the arrival of mysterious visitors begins a series of events that threaten the entire world.

A Blight creeps across the land, material darkness corrupting everything it touches, and transforming the natural landscapes into grotesque metal ruins. Out of the blight come the tick-tocks – monsters of bolt and screw – bent on causing terror and destruction.

Enter Poguri, a nouminal whose past is shrouded in darkness.  A mere victim of fate, or an unlikely hero called by destiny, he must discover the truth behind the Blight in order to save himself, and the world.
