Enter the Land of Nou – land of dreams, land of infinite possibilities. A parallel world where dreamers leave behind their problems to explore, create, and play – limited only by their own imaginations.
Nou is home to creatures of cloth and stitch called nouminals – who join the dreamers for fun and adventure.
But all is not well in the world of dreams.
The arrival of mysterious visitors in the capital city of Daywatch begins a series of events which threaten to plunge the Nou into chaos. Shadows are creeping across the land, corrupting everything they touch, and transforming colorful natural landscapes into twisted metal ruins. From the darkness rise the bogeys, monsters of bolt and screw with a taste for terror and destruction.
At the same time, a strange little nouminal called Poguri appears in the city, with no memory of where he came from or where he’s going.
The troubles in the Land of Nou run parallel to the personal narrative of twelve year dreamer Maddie Grey. In addition her adventures in the Land of Nou, she must contend with her “earthly” problems, like the sudden move to a new home, a difficult relationship with her father, and the struggle for acceptance.
Poguri and the Land of Nou is a tale of two worlds intertwined by a common conflict. As one girl fights to preserve her peace of mind, an entire population will fight for its survival…
