The author is a fellow by the name of Oswald.  Growing up on authors like Madeleine L’Engle, Terry Brooks, and Neil Gaiman, he hopes with POGURI and the Land of Nou™ to bring as much joy and spark as much conversation as they have.

Poguri and the Land of Nou will be a children’s novel with a little something to offer to readers of all ages. It is a story intended as a throwback to the grimmer and more visceral children’s tales, liberal in their use of darker themes.

Oswald hopes that the book will also inspire as much discussion in literature courses at every level as it would in grade-school book clubs, and that it will be equally at home on the shelves next to Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland™ or Harry Potter™.
