Board Game

The Poguri and the Land of Nou^TM Board Game will draw upon the characters, places, and events of the illustrated novel in order to create a fun family-friendly adventure for 1-6 players. Players will take on the roles of the dreamers of Nou and their nouminals as they try to fend off the continuous spread of the Blight and the invasions of the Bogeys.

Each game will include a playing board, children and bogey figurines, two sets of dice, as well as assorted tokens and cards. Each will be a complete set, ready to play right out of the box, and will not require any additional materials such as booster packs or add-ons. The game will support both cooperative and competitive play, with players given the option of playing as the children or the bogeys.

While many tabletop adventure games - such as collectible card games - focus entirely on combat, the Poguri board game incorporates light puzzle-solving, exploration, and creativity - as players build various things out of almatter. Of course there will be times when combat is the only option, and it is at these times that the children will have to rely on their own resourcefulness as well as drawing upon the strength of their nouminals to fend off the bogey invasion.

The Poguri and the Land of Nou^TM Board Game will be an opportunity to interact directly with the narrative of Poguri and the Land of Nou and to share the adventure with friends.
