New Illustration: Maddie’s Nightmare
For those of you who follow the progress on this project at all, you’ve probably read Maddie’s nightmare sequence several times as it has gone through countless revisions and new incarnations. Well now you’re in for a treat. The first illustration by artist Paul Davey is a scene from Maddie’s nightmare, and he has more than lived up to my expectations. Leave a comment, let me know what you think.

Hi Kermit, re your post on my Black Books blog, generally I would suggest either AbeBooks.com or ebay, as both commonly list Marge's autobiography at reasonable prices. Good luck with your project, I'll keep my eyes peeled, as Marge is my cousin and the Stolen Generations is a matter very dear to me, with my father and his siblings also being members. The matter is to also feature as part of my own book (narrative non fiction, novel format). Should you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
Kind Regards,
John

Thank you so much for getting back to me. And for the recommendation. As you said, I found a copy on AbeBooks for a reasonable price – and apparently it's even signed by Ms. Tucker.
And I have TONS of questions. Do you think we could correspond via email? I'm not going to ask you for everything you know regarding the Stolen Generations, but I am more concerned about toeing that line between "borrowing" another's history and appropriating it.
If you're up for an e-mail convo, how would I reach you? You can leave me your address at this name at this domain dot com.
Thanks again.
